Harper Assists Terms and Policies

1. Confidentiality and Data Security

  • Client Confidentiality: Harper Assists values your privacy and treats all client information as strictly confidential. All data, materials, and communications are securely handled and accessible only to authorized personnel.

  • Data Security: We use trusted platforms and tools (Airtable, Google Drive, Make, and Slack) to maintain data security and protect client information from unauthorized access. Any third-party services used are vetted for security and compliance standards.

  • Non-Disclosure: Harper Assists will not share, sell, or distribute client information with any external parties unless legally required or with client consent.

2. Services and Deliverables

  • Scope of Services: Harper Assists provides services as agreed in the client contract. Our services range from virtual assistance to social media management, website creation, and business process automation. Any services outside the original agreement must be discussed and approved.

  • Service Hours and Availability: Services are provided during business hours unless specified in the contract. Clients can expect prompt responses, and any expected delays will be communicated in advance.

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Timely Communication: Clients are expected to provide necessary information and feedback on time to ensure projects stay on track. Delays in client communication may impact project timelines.

  • Content and Material Submission: Clients must ensure that any material provided to Harper Assists (e.g., graphics, documents) is free of legal restrictions and suitable for public or intended use. Harper Assists is not responsible for verifying the copyright status of provided materials.

4. Payment Terms

  • Invoicing: Clients will receive an invoice at the beginning of each billing period, with payment due on the first Friday of each month. Payments are accepted via designated methods as outlined in the client contract.

  • Late Payment: Payments not received by the due date may incur late fees. Continued late payments may result in a suspension of services until payment is resolved.

  • Refund Policy: Services are non-refundable. Any concerns about deliverables should be raised promptly, and Harper Assists will work with clients to resolve issues within the scope of the service agreement.

5. Limitations of Liability

  • Scope of Responsibility: Harper Assists is committed to providing high-quality services. However, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service use. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own records and backups of essential data.

  • Third-Party Tools and Platforms: Harper Assists uses third-party tools like Airtable and Google Drive to facilitate service delivery. While we ensure these tools meet high security and performance standards, Harper Assists is not liable for downtime or data breaches occurring directly within these platforms.

6. Termination of Services

  • Service Termination by Client: Clients may terminate services by providing a 30-day written notice. Outstanding fees for the current billing period remain payable upon termination.

  • Termination for Breach: Harper Assists reserves the right to terminate services immediately if there is a breach of contract, such as non-payment or misuse of services. In such cases, all work completed to date will be invoiced, and access to deliverables may be restricted until payment is received.

7. Policy Amendments

  • Harper Assists reserves the right to amend these Terms and Policies. Any changes will be communicated to clients with a minimum of 30 days’ notice.
